Windows On Woodstock

Windows On Woodstock is my textile art studio in Santa Ynez, CA. It is a converted barn which sits high on a hill overlooking Woodstock Road and the Santa Ynez Valley. Within the 1500+ square feet I create art pieces from my hand dyed fabrics which I screen print, paint, stencil, otherwise embellish and stitch. My work ranges from representational to conceptual to abstract. Several series are incorporated into my body of work.

Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum Contemporary Art Quilt Exhibition

Four of my pieces were selected for a juried show at the SYV Historical Museum at the end of October. The exhibition ran from Oct. 29 through Oct. 31. The pieces exhibited varied from smaller framed pieces to a larger tapestry-style hanging. I would like to thank one of the docents, Catherine Graves, for bringing me a beautiful stack of dupioni silks in jewel-tone colors, after seeing one of my pieces which was rendered in silk. It was a delight to be shown among so many talented individuals.
