Windows On Woodstock

Windows On Woodstock is my textile art studio in Santa Ynez, CA. It is a converted barn which sits high on a hill overlooking Woodstock Road and the Santa Ynez Valley. Within the 1500+ square feet I create art pieces from my hand dyed fabrics which I screen print, paint, stencil, otherwise embellish and stitch. My work ranges from representational to conceptual to abstract. Several series are incorporated into my body of work.

This is the image I chose for my logo--the windows overlooking Woodstock Road.  It is the first thing one notices about the studio.  The windows frame the valley from our hilltop perspective.

  1. I found my copy of Studios from Winter 2010 hiding under a stack of books and realized I hadn't even looked at it yet. I saw one of the pics of your view and immediately recognized the area! My grandparents used to own a victorian home in Lompoc so we often drove through the Santa Ynez valley on our way to Solvang. Your studio is gorgeous! It's so nice for you to have a place to define as your own space and have room to create. Your quilts are beautiful!
